Reception Class 2025/26
Children born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 are due to start reception in September 2025.
Thank you for considering Christ the King Catholic Primary School for your child's education. At Christ the King, we aim to create a happy learning environment centred on play and discovery. We plan our curriculum and environment carefully to ensure that our children feel safe, secure and confident, whilst learning skills and knowledge in a way which is meaningful to them. During your child's time in Reception, they will take part in a variety of activities and play-based experiences, which aim to challenge, foster a love of learning and inspire their natural curiosity.

Home Visits, transition opportunities and stay/play sessions July 2025
|
Pupils are invited into school for several 'Stay & Play' sessions to support with transition into school. EYFS staff will also visit children in their home setting. |

Start dates September 2025
|
The children will start school in small groups to support with their first days in Reception. The Early Years Team will provide an official start date for your child during their home visit.We plan for all children to be attending school full time by Friday 5th September. |
